It is situated in the south-central portion of California's San Joaquin Valley, 28 miles (45 km) south-southeast of the city of Fresno and 18 miles (29 km) west of the city of Visalia. Its first mayor was local resident Yamon LeBaron. The need for fire protection led to the town becoming an incorporated city in 1891. On several occasions, major fires destroyed much of the young community's business district. Forty-four of them were Chinese immigrants who resided in what's known today as China Alley. The next month, the town's first census was held counting some 269 residents. This event became famous as the Mussel Slough Tragedy. In May 1880, a dispute over land titles between settlers and the Southern Pacific Railroad resulted in a bloody gun battle on a farm 5.6 mi (9.0 km) northwest of Hanford that left seven men dead. On August 1, California Governor candidates George Clement Perkins and Romualdo Pacheco (and on August 10, O F Thornton and W F White W P C) spoke in Hanford and Lemoore. In May 1878, the Upper Kings River Canal and Irrigation Company filed articles of incorporation. In June 1878, the Workingmen's Party was reported to have a majority vote over the Democrats in the town. In May 1878, Hanford residents drafted a resolve against the South Pacific Railroad from purchasing land with residing settlers. Judge them by if they are an original idea, if they are a fun game to play, if they are high quality, and if the developer looks like they actually care about their game and not some shitty clickbait ripoff. Simulators shouldn't be judged solely because they are simulators. Or a simulator where you poop on pedestrians and fly around like a bird(there's a game for that). Heck, you could even make a Roblox subreddit simulator(though I don't know who would play that). Simulators are super broad - So it hits so many different areas. Come up with ideas for developers to use that could be something many people will enjoy. Support original/high quality/fun simulations. But I'm probably not inspiring anyone to go out and make a full-fledged game after reading a post, so let's go to #2. Well obviously the first one is go out there and make some wildly original simulator idea that people will enjoy. ![]() It's never really too late to learn how to develop a game - and simulators can be depending on the idea one of the easiest things a new dev can make. Perhaps something we've never seen before. It's very possible that someone will create a decent simulator of something on Roblox. And there's stuff that's inbetween and probably ignored since there isn't anything too special or fun about what the game is trying to simulate. There's stuff that looks like someone made in less than two hours and somehow manages to stay on the front page. There's stuff that would take years to make and probably will never get a release(bannerlord when). Simulator games are easy to make and easy to come up with ideas for.Īnd I don't mean every type of simulation is easy to make. So why are there so many shitty simulator games? Games like A Pirate's Life can be argued as simulators(you simulate playing as pirates vs other pirates). Jailbreak can arguably be called a simulator, whether you like the game or not, it's a decent game. One of my friends is addicted to Bee Swarm Sim(Toucan save him pls). There's simulator games in Roblox that people find enjoyable as well. They can be actually really fun to play - examples being stuff outside of Roblox like 18 Wheels of Steel or The Sims(except Freeplay/mobile/console versions). Then there's other simulators that either don't hit the mark, are cashgrab attempts(and I don't mean the random microtransaction here and there, I mean spamming your screen with "BUY THIS NOW"), or have been done so many times that you can probably make a tower of cards taller than every pyramid in Egypt for each one. There's some simulators that aren't too bad(mining ones usually are alright). They've been around for a decent amount of time(ranging in quality and types).
